DAYS 1–2
Arrive in Arusha, Tanzania
Your guide will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and escort you to tonight’s accommodations in Arusha.
As local Tanzanians, your guides know the country with unrivaled familiarity, so you’ll be in good hands from the moment you land.
OVERNIGHT
Arusha Coffee Lodge
Set among the coffee fields at the foot of Mount Meru, Arusha Coffee Lodge is a peaceful place to begin or end your Tanzanian safari. Just five minutes from Arusha Airport, the lodge is surrounded by lush coffee plantations, with 30 plantation cottages tucked among the trees. Settle into your private veranda, take a dip in the pool, or relax with a massage at the spa before enjoying a quiet moment over a cup of locally grown coffee.
DAYS 3–5
Tarangire National Park
Explore Tarangire National Park, where ancient baobab trees tower over some of the largest herds of elephants in all of Africa.
Keep a lookout for the hundreds of bird species Tarangire is known for—and dramatic interactions between predator and prey at the park’s watering holes.

Oliver’s Camp
Deep in the southern reaches of Tarangire National Park, Oliver’s Camp puts you far from the day-tripper traffic and close to some of the park’s best wildlife viewing. Set near the wildlife-rich Silale Swamp, the camp’s 15 spacious safari tents overlook the surrounding wilderness, each with a private deck and en-suite bathroom. Ngorongoro Crater & Highlands
Explore the lush highlands and ancient volcanic crater by day and unwind at one of Africa’s most luxurious lodges by night.
