The world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera also hosts the densest concentration of large mammals on the planet.

You’ll explore its floor over the next two days and search for the Big Five, including the rare black rhino. In the evenings, you’ll retire to Gibb’s Farm, a three-time Travel + Leisure Top Safari Lodge in Africa.

Rugged, raw and one of the most remote safari locations in East Africa, Ruaha is a rare treat for travelers.

It’s the only park in Africa where you can find East African and Southern African wildlife, and a prime location for finding rare species like kudu, wild dog and sable antelope with the help of local guides and expert spotters.
