The absolute best part of our safari was our guide, Mustapha. He was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure to tailor the trip to our needs.
He checked in frequently, was very attentive to our comfort, and explained details clearly so we always had a sense of what was going on. He helped us understand cultural facts and was eager to ensure we saw the Big 5.
Mustapha went above and beyond, and we will definitely recommend him as the guide to ask for. I got great photos, but I wouldn’t have been able to without him.
The food at camp was excellent! We had just traveled to South Africa on a luxury train, and the food on safari was even better. The soups, especially, were delicious at all the camps. The camp staff made us feel so welcome and even taught us how to play a card game.
I was impressed that Thomson Safaris has been around for over 40 years. The trip couldn’t have happened without Mustapha!
