What do you do? As a travel manager, I help people plan custom safaris and Kilimanjaro trips by matching their travel goals with my knowledge of Tanzania.
What’s your favorite part of your job? Safaris create lifelong memories and are a bucket-list trip for so many people. It’s rewarding to know I’m assisting them in planning a trip they’ve often dreamed about for years.
Besides safari, what has been your favorite past travel experience? Spending time with my family in Italy. I loved slowing down and enjoying the rhythm of everyday life there – sharing long meals, exploring small towns, and soaking in the history and culture.
What’s next on your travel bucket list? I would love to explore and hike in the Azores. It is the perfect destination for nature, adventure, and a bit of a quiet escape.
My favorite safari animal is the pangolin because it’s one of the most unique and elusive creatures in the wild. I’m fascinated by its armor-like scales and the way it instinctively curls into a tight ball for protection. Because pangolins are so rarely seen, spotting one on safari feels incredibly special.
My insider travel tip is to pack light! Bringing fewer, well-chosen items makes travel so much easier, and with laundry services available at most camps and lodges, you really don’t need much. Keeping things simple helps you stay flexible, more comfortable, and fully focused on the experience rather than what you’ve packed.
