What do you do? As a Safari Tour Consultant, I enjoy learning what inspires people to travel in the first place. Whether someone has spent years dreaming about the Serengeti or is just starting to consider a safari, I help them shape an experience that reflects their interests, priorities, and sense of adventure.

What’s your favorite part of your job? I believe travel expands our understanding of the world and all who share it. Whether someone is planning the trip of a lifetime years in the making or taking a spontaneous leap into adventure, I enjoy helping create experiences that feel personal, meaningful, and unforgettable.

Besides safari, what has been your favorite past travel experience? One of my favorite travel experiences was spending a summer in Tuscany on an archaeological excavation at an ancient Etruscan site. For six weeks, I traded classrooms for dig trenches, uncovering history while living in one of Italy’s most beautiful regions. Afterward, I traveled through northern Italy and northwestern Europe, immersing myself in the history, food, and culture of each destination. Siena and Bruges especially left a lasting impression on me, both for their incredible sense of history and the feeling of stepping into places that still carry centuries of stories.

What’s next on your travel bucket list? Japan has been at the top of my bucket list for years. As someone who loves museums, historic neighborhoods, and discovering great local restaurants, it feels like a destination where I could happily stay much longer than planned.

My favorite safari animal is: I’m a cat person, so choosing a favorite safari animal feels almost inevitable: the cheetah. I love that, despite being the fastest land animal on Earth, they still purr and meow just like house cats. Some things never change, no matter the size of the cat!

My insider travel tip is: Don’t wait for the perfect moment. Travel dreams have a way of staying dreams when we keep waiting for the right time. If there’s a trip calling your name, start making it happen. And once you’re there, leave room for the unexpected – those unplanned moments often become the memories that last the longest.
