Born in Moshi and raised in Arusha, Dickson knew from a young age that he wanted to become a safari guide. After completing his safari and Kilimanjaro mountain guiding training at Mweka College, he began his career as a Kilimanjaro porter and then guided walking safaris around the rim of Ngorongoro Crater. These experiences deepened his love of Tanzania’s landscapes and wildlife, particularly its birds. Ornithology has since become a favorite subject, and Dickson is always eager to learn more.

Dickson believes guiding is a passion, and he approaches it with patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make every guest’s experience special. Outgoing, curious, and quick to laugh, he loves sharing his knowledge while continuing to learn from those around him. Away from the safari, Dickson enjoys reading, action movies, and playing football as a left-back. He’s a devoted fan of both Simba F.C. and Manchester United.
