“The most spectacular vacation my family has ever experienced!”

We’ve returned from the most spectacular vacation that my family has ever experienced! Thomson Safaris provided us with an adventure that was beyond our expectations. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and all had a great, friendly, humorous attitude with every member of my family.

We felt that you planned a first class trip and left no stone unturned, from your sensitivity towards my granddaughters’ vegetarian and dairy free dietary needs, the cakes for our family milestones, to the private charter from the Serengeti. The staff at each Nyumba was extraordinary, pampering us at every turn. The Maasai guards at the Ngorongoro Crater really provided comfort when most of us were awakened by a leopard’s roar close to camp in the middle of the night and were each convinced it was literally right at our individual tents. Hearing the Maasai walking around our tents and tapping their spears was what kept us all sane!

The trip was so fabulous that I must say I did not mind turning 75!! Being able to have such a wonderful trip with my entire family and hearing all the kids keep saying “Nana, we are really in Africa!” was awesome. The cakes and singing at all camps were fantastic. Every moment was handled perfectly.

This was the best birthday I have ever experienced. I had my entire family together – all 14 – to share this experience. And to know that each one was happy and thankful we all had this time together… Life is good.
